It is not rare that a good idea gets a good realization on the technical level, but while polishing up, someone forgets an important detail in between – the story. Even if the film is not plot-based, it makes a huge difference when the crew is making with some backstory in mind than when there is none. The film still can be good, but there is this cloud of “it could have been better” with all the ends tighten.
